The rate of generated power by Karkheh, Masjed Soleiman, Karun 3, Koohrang, and Lavark power plants reached to 3 million, 322 thousand and 539 MWH since March 2009 to January 2010.
According to a report released by IWPC's PR, the rate of power generated by 400 MW Karkheh power plant was 42 thousand and 174 MWH, while 2,000 megawatt Masjed Soleiman power plant produced one million ,446 thousand and 732 MWH energy.
Meanwhile the rate of electricity generated by 2,000 megawatt Karun 3 power plant reached to one million, 776 thousand, and 59 MWH.
Koohrang power plant, with production capacity of 35MW, generated about 57 thousand and 178 MWH electricity, while Lavark power plant, with production capacity of 23.5 MW, produced 396MWH in the aforementioned period.
Based on the report ,in current Iranian year (ending on March), among 22 hydropower plants in the country, Karun 3 and Masjed Soleiman power plants had the highest rate of electricity generation.
