IWPC's Fifth External Survey Finalized

The fifth external survey of IWPC, based on the ISO9001: 2008 standard requirements, undertaken by DNV institute, was finalized in Feb 24, 2010.
In the closing ceremony of the survey, the results were presented in the presence of managing director, deputies, executives and managers of the projects.
The most important findings in this period are announced as followed:
1-Observation: 3 cases, such as lack of setting a follow-up system for corrective measures and defined recommendations in the monitoring report, no specific definition for general contractor in the company and how to evaluate, select and approve them.
2- Recommendations for improving the 4 cases include:
2-1- Creating an integrated risk management system in the company
2-2- Defining an appropriate mechanism for recording, announcing the experiences and learned lessons in the form of the project 's report and sharing them in the company
2-3- To be ensured about the non-interference of defined indicators in various systems such as BSC and quality management
2-4- Reviewing the complementary and specialized check lists for internal surveys
3- Lack of conformity: It was not observed
4- Positive points: several positive points were observed in the field of evaluating the risk of projects' budget, preparing ACT Master Plan

At the end of the meeting, Eng. Mozaffari, Manager Director of the company, appreciated the efforts undertaken by survey group, as well as company's colleagues.
He also underlined the necessity of following up the findings in the form of observations, as well as improving the field of risk management.
