Under no circumstance Karun 4 dam faces break threat

Text

Considering the worries expressed in some national media about Karun 4 dam break, it is officially announced that Karun 4 dam, under no circumstance, is threatened by any risks of break.
Following the release of Karun 4 news, the PR office of IWPC issued the following statement:
"The spread of the possibility of Karun 4 dam break in some media worried millions of people living down of the river especially in Khuzestan Province of Iran. Hence, it is widely expected that the media employ greater degrees of accuracy in spreading such news."
Adding more, the PR office of IWPC said: the presence of cracks within massive concrete structures is quite acceptable and common. Technical standards and codes developed by important committees have also accepted the presence of such cracks within big massive structures. The international reports show that more than 400 dams within the world have suffered from cracks and undergone rehabilitative measures.
"Hereby it is strongly emphasized that the presence of cracks within concrete dams is quite acceptable and IWPC has employed repairing measures to fix the cracks. It is also announced that the cracks never threaten the stability of Karun 4 dam and its structures. There is no concern about the dam and IWPC is ready to have the correspondents visit the dam.
