The construction progress of Siahbisheh , Iran's first pump storage project, goes beyond 90 %.
According to a report released by Iwpco's PR, annonciong the news  F. Akhavan Saleth , the executive officer of project said: The progress of different tasks assures gradual launch of power plant units in less than a year.
He also added: completion of up and downstream dams and start of reservoir tests, completion of the two units' set-up and installation as well as transport and installation of nine transformers were the final tasks undertaken in project. 
Siabisheh plant consumes surplus of power network in low consumption time to pump and store water in upstream dam. It then generates power in high peaks.
Siabisheh has 4 units each producing 260 MW of energy. The project aims to improve power network and help balance and stabilization.
Siabisheh pump-storage project is located 125 km north of Tehran and is currently under construction on Chaloos River.
